Liu Zhisheng, Assistant to the Presidentof Our Institute, Approved to Study in the U.S.A.

 Byapplication, Liu Zhisheng, assistant to the president of our institute, was approved by the China Scholarship Council to study as a visiting scholar for one year in the UMBC of the University of Maryland of the U.S.A. He will be major in urban administration engineering and his research orientation would be sustainability-based urban rainstorm control theories and technologies.


 Located in Baltimore of Maryland State in northeast America, the UMBC of the University of Maryland wasfounded in 1966 as a publicuniversity of research in the United States. There are over 13,000 students studying there. It is one of the higher-learning education institutions of the Maryland University system. The university specializes in natural sciences and engineering sciences.
