In the afternoon ofSeptember 10, 2015, thesigning ceremony of thestrategic cooperation agreement between our institute and theJilin Province Institute of Transportation Planning was held in the meeting room on the 5th
floor of theJilin Province Institute of Transportation Planning. President Fang Feiof our institute andPresident Yang Guangof theJilin Province Institute of Transportation Planning, together withmembers of the leading groups on both sides were present at the agreement signing ceremony.
During the cooperation period, both parties shall develop all-round cooperation in talent training, technology, project, market, product, research, etc., give full play to each side’s advantages and realize win-win throughresource sharing and advantage complementarity. The cooperation focuses shall be placed on thefollowing aspects. First, both sides shall jointly carry out theresearch on the comprehensive transport network withChangchun as the center in Northeast Asia, and jointly connect the urban transport planning with the regional transport planning, in particular, an advanced linkage between the urban planning and the transport hub planning. They shall engage in scientific arrangements andtechnological deliberations and expounding, and jointly work for status quo analysis of the congested road sections between artery highways and urban roads, andforresearch on identifying solutions. Second, both sides shall conform to the industrial development demands for big transportation and smart transportation, jointly work hard to launch projects with bid influence on the creation of smart city and smart transportation, and form certain authoritativeness and brand-name effect nationwide. Third, both sides shall actively participate in the work of urban administration in the aspects of macro planning, plan recommendation, technology deliberation, consultation review, etc., to provide thegovernmentand society with an entire set of services from prior planning to operation management. Fourth, both sides shall cooperate in researchprojects on eco-city building and green transportation, gradually improve theenvironmental protection level coupled with transportation, and meet the requirements for building an eco-city.
The agreement signing ceremony will beof great significance forlong-term development of both institutes. It is believed that, as long as both institutes insist on complementarity, mutual trust and assistance, and common progress, they will surely attain fast developmentof their undertakings, promoting upgrade ofthe transportation planning and urban planning by a large margin.
