In what is most likely to be the first of many leaks leading up to the release of the next version of the iPad, iLounge has posted some images from a case manufacturer that show a hole for a front facing camera as well as some other interesting touches that we may see on the iPad 2.
In addition to the front camera there is an odd notch where the speaker is on the current iPad. Perhaps making room for a larger speaker grille to push more sound? It would definitely have to be on the back as the front is likely to be all screen once again. The case also seems to be thinner and more curvaceous indicating a slimmer profile for the iPad 2.
A second image on Japanese gadget blog Kodwarisan shows the mysterious notch as well and claims that it has something to do with an SD card slot. Case leaks like this are often how we first get glimpses of what Apple’s new devices look like so this very well could be our window into next year’s iPad.

Well, I like these probable new features of the iPad 2. And what will be the actual size of this device? Still 9.7″? Some cases are white..Perhaps, there will be a white version of the iPad 2?
