With a touchscreen device as famously stylus free as the iPhone it’s an automatic uphill battle for TenOne in marketing the Pogo Stylus as a pointing tool with finer control for the platform. That the thing even exists is a testament to how much people like the stylus still for some things. The question is whether the Pogo Stylus is better at those things than just using your finger.
The Pogo Stylus is a small, light, aluminum-bodied stylus with a small soft tip that activates a capacitive touchscreen just like your body does. The stylus is a good size for an iPhone, just over half the length of the phone itself. The kit I got for review came with a clip for the iPhone 3GS, but the new ones come with a pretty sweet multifunction clip that also acts as a stand for the phone.
The tip is soft enough for you not to worry about it ever scratching or abrading your screen, so no worries there.
I do quite a bit of scribbling and note taking with my finger on the iPad and to a lesser degree on the iPhone so I was interested to see how effective the Pogo was in improving my accuracy. I was pleasantly surprised to find that almost any note that I took or sketching that I did was easier to control and, in the case of handwriting, easier to read when it was done with the stylus instead of my finger.
I demonstrate a bit of that in the video below:
If you sketch or take notes freehand a lot on an iDevice, I would say that you owe it to yourself to check a Pogo Stylus out. You might not use it for typing, as they suggest that it can be, but you’ll definitely pull it out the next time you want to jot a note or make a quick drawing.
The Pogo Stylus is available on TenOne’s site for $14.95

I dont agree with this completely but it brings up some excellent points.
Heya just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly. I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different web browsers and both show the same outcome.
I’m impressed, I have to say. Really not often do I encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you’ve hit the nail on the head. Your concept is outstanding; the problem is one thing that not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very glad that I stumbled throughout this in my seek for something relating to this.
Woh I love your blog posts, saved to bookmarks ! .
